10 Reasons to Visit Vegas| Even Under 21

Wanderlust: a strong desire to travel. Right now I am on a flight to Vegas. Ahh sin city the place for gamblers and drinkers , neither of which I am legal to join in on. Everyone has been asking me what are you going to do in Vegas when you are not 21 yet? Well let me tell you there is a lot more to Las Vegas than drinking and gambling. My Vegas adventure will be filled with zip- lining, Britney Spears, gorgeous views and soo much more!

I am now back to Earth and beginning a new journey with my 2nd year at college! But let me tell you don't let age be the reason you don't go to Vegas. I was there for about a week and there are still so many things that I would go back to see or do. Before I ramble on anymore here are the Top 10 reasons why everyone should visit Vegas at least once, even if you are under 21.

1. Bellagio

It is a classic that everyone loves. Shows begin every 15-30 minutes and it is choreographed to music. It is truly beautiful and it is free! I saw it both in the daylight and at night. If you do not like crowds I would recommend an earlier show, but either way it is a must see.

2. Shopping

Vegas is a shopper's dream. My personal favorite is all of the shopping places that have the cloud ceiling that makes you feel like you are walking in a dream. Whether you are looking for Prada purses, your favorite chain stores or unique boutiques you will find something that you love!

SHOPS AT THE VENETIAN.

3. Food

Endless choices for delicious food is available in Vegas. If you come for one thing only make it be the incredible food. One of the best things that I had was the steak & chicken fajitas from Diablo's! I could probably eat them everyday. Vegas is also known for their amazing buffets and trust me they are nothing like Golden Carrel (Thank God). Gelato. Gelato and more gelato, you will never want regular ice cream again.

4. The High Roller

Ferris wheels are not my cup of tea, but I loved The High Roller. It is the world's largest observation wheel and it has breathtaking views of Sin City. I went during the day so there were less people , but the night views would be gorgeous as well.

5. Britney Spears

It's Britney B*tch! Oh my goodness my childhood dreams came true! I know a lot of people say that all she does is lip sync, but I was there to be entertained and needles to say goal accomplished. Also because the venue was so small, the cheapest tickets were still great seats. Even if you do not see Britney , go see a show there are plenty of amazing ones to choose from!

6. Red Rock Canyon/ Valley of Fire

If you happen to rent a car while you are in Vegas or find a tour guide place definitely make your way to both of these beautiful scenic drives through the desert. They are both no more than 35-40 minutes outside of Vegas and definitely worth the trip. I will let the pictures explain the rest...

7. Zion National Park

Another beautiful place! If you can take out a day to drive about 2hrs to Utah , Zion is the place to be. There are a ton of hiking opportunities. Once you are inside there is a shuttle that will take to all of the stops. If you get there early enough you can take you car in but there is a cut off time. However cars can only go up to stop 6 after that you have to take the shuttle. When I go back I am definitely trekking my way through the shallows. A few tips: bring water , wear sunscreen and carry a backpack. Also there are several amazing waterfalls that if you go you need to see..

8. Zip-lining

Best $20 spent while I was there. If you have never been before try it, you will not regret it. If you are a beginner like I am, go to Fremont Street. There is a lower line and a higher line. The higher line gets booked faster so plan in advance. If you are feeling brave you can zip-line at the Rio Casino from one building to another. Whichever one you choose, it will be amazing.

FUN FACT: I WAS NOT ALLOWED TO WEAR MY GLASSES SO ALL I COULD SEE WAS BRIGHT LIGHTS.

9. Fremont Street

Downtown Vegas is where it all began, and definitely still worth visiting. There are some really cool restaurants there, like the Heart-attack Grill , where everyone is wearing a hospital gown. Slotzilla zip-lining is here. Cool street side shows, fascinating light shows, the MOB museum and so much more!

10. Swim

100 Degrees is too hot not to swim at least once while you are there. A majority of the pools are incredibly nice, so take advantage of them. Some of the hotels will let you swim at their pool even if you are not a guest (some free, some a small fee).

Comment below with any must sees in Vegas that I missed. Thanks for reading, have a beautiful day!
